Been looking for a 92 in 357 mag for a while. I was hoping to get a 20" barrel but came across a pre bolt-safety gun with a 16" barrel locally. Handling it, I liked how handy it is and the fact that holding it at the wrist and lowering my arm, the muzzle is off the ground. That's going to be good in the brush. 8 rounds not 10, but that's OK.
Nice wood on this one. Looks like it may be walnut, not dyed birch. Some figure to the wood. Not Claro walnut mind you, but some figure. Has a brass badge on the side of the receiver with a bobcat looking face on it. probably suposed to be a puma, but it looks like a babcat to me. My six year old son will love that, and that's worth something. Hopefully it will be his one day, after all.
Anyway, I put down a few bucks deposit and will have it soon enough.
