Picked up a 3 Screw SBH (pics added)

I found one for a very good price.  I'm working on finding some grips for it.  I'll post some pics when I get them.  It had the rubber Hogue grips on it.  It isn't a perfect gun but it's very smooth and tight as a bank vault.  It was made in 1966.

Excellent Swampman! I also liked your .357's and the new to you .45 Colt
 
I guess that this is a good time to purchase used guns as per the economy?...I have noted large holes in the bleachers at Nascar this year with the commentators even laminating about it. I would also say the NBA players better watch out but am going to quit before the moderator moves this post.

Ladobe has three sets of grips listed on the classifieds now for the older Rugers like that.

I fitted a used New Model grip to the left side after installing the correct blackened hardware and medallion in it.  I gave the grips a couple of coats of Min-Wax Satin Tung Oil Finish to make them match better.  Just a cheap shooter and woodsbum pistol.
