found a nice target load for ACP

Found a nice target load for may Kimber Super Match 45 ACP.

3.6 gr. AA #2 with 185 gr LSWC, using WLP primers.  The discharged case went 6 inches up and landed within a 12 inch circle every time!  No trouble cycling slide at all.  For only firing 20 rounds (all I had) they all went into a three inch circle at 50 ft.  I was not trying too hard...they will do better with a little more effort.

I am looking for more of this!  Any body else using low charge of AA#2?

HH,

I've found the same kind of load with my Colt with 3.5-4.0grn WST or 4.6 Bullseye and a 200 lead SWC. Love it when the brass lands right beside you but I'm using a 18lb Wolff spring now and have several different weights to choose from. I'm using the variable spring which I think will let you have a wider range of loads and still eject the case. BM
