poor mouthing

most of you have heard me say that I can't afford this or that, but that's not entirely the truth.
I have 3, .22 rifles, 3 pistols, 2 revolvers and 2 shotguns.  so instead of buying more unneeded toys, I put aside a little each month and this afternoon the little woman booked us another cruise. one week out of port canaveral to bahamas, virgin islands and dutch antilles.
that what I've done the last few years, finance cruises.

for those that haven't done it, try it.  your wife will become your best friend.
we leave june 3rd.

Yeah, yeah, now we know the truth, Mr. Moneybags.   ;)     My wife's kind of been hinting for that same thing for the last couple of years.  Problem is, other than the occasional hunting trip, I seldom take vacations.  Oh well, she does deserve it.  May have to think about that pretty soon.  Damn trouble maker.   ;D

being a total redneck, I surprised myself at how much I enjoy crusing. especially the dining room.
surprise her.  its cheaper than going to a resort area.

This is true but we like the beach.  No way of knowing how many miles we walk in a week on the beach.  Just walk, talk and remember what started it all.  A cruise is great though.  I found there was little difference in money between a stateroom and a very nice suite and I assure you the suite is the only way to go.  Booking at least 6 months early is also a huge savings.

When living on the West Coast I suggested an Alakan Cruise to my wife.
 
She replied: " We have been married xx years and I know you very well.
 
I replied: "True".
 
She said:" They will not let you steer the ship nor are you welcome to spent time in the Engine room fiddling with things."
 
I replied: " True again."  (sigh)
 
She continued:" You will be bored and miserable, you can do this here without the cost."
 
We didn't go.

Best cruise I ever did was the inter island Hawaii week long. My wife booked after my first combat tour (bad tour). I wore boardshorts all week, got fat, tan and rested, watched the volcano from a hot tub with my wife. Been on several others, but I'd sell a couple guns for a time like that again. (Don't tell my wife :D )

;D luckily we're not gonna be off the east africa coast.

ive never heard the term poor mouthing exactly as yu say it.but ive been accused of it.seems roun here if yu dont spend yur money on crap that dont make yu no money and yu dont blow it on crap, yur considered arrogant.but ill live with it

I've tried it a few times.  The gun lasts forever.  Wife changes back to her same old self in about a week.  Comes back fatter too.
