Not really being a football fan, but keeping up with the news, looks like the blue and white have their share of problems. My ex boss was/is a big Penn, St. Joe Paterno fan. Haven't talked with him about it yet, but, have with other football guys. Had a couple state that they didn't think Paterno should have been fired, as it looks like he went to a higher up to report the incidents. I don't have that opinion. I think they should clean house, and prosecute anybody that knew anything about it. This is no different than the Catholic church moving priests around to avoid publicity. In the mean time, more kids are being assualted. If anybody knew, including Paterno, which it looks like he did, he should have reported it to the police, not just college administators. Goes to show you how value's go out the window, when it comes to stuff like this!!(refering to sports,politics and religion)gypsyman

we need to cancel all college sports for a couple of years and see which colleges survive.

I agree everyone involved should be prosecuted. The excuse of "I reported it" is no excuse! This is a case of child rape!,not petty theft. The guy that actually saw this taking place and did nothing is a coward. If I had seen this happening, Congress would have had to enact a new law to get me to stop the ass whipping! Money and prestige was, and is ,more important to these people than children.Who knows what this freak did that was never found out. It make me sick!

Any sympathy I might have had for JoePa went out the window because of his hypocrisy.
He lambasted Jackie Sherrill, Barry Switzer, and Bear Bryant for problems in their programs, but was willing to sweep it under the carpet when it happened in happy valley.
I hope everyone realizes it’s really about the victims, not Penn State.

I've never liked Pennzoil either. I used to get a lot of gunk in engines that used it, so I switched to valvoline and castrol instead.

All of them who knew should spend some time in prison and the child rapist should be executed. The rapist used his charity program as a hunting ground. People saw children being raped and reported to school officials; why not the police?
 
Yes, this is Penn States trouble the school administrators knew and covered it up.
 
I guess when it comes to millions of dollars of revenue from football what is an "at risk" kid worth?

A rumor going around is that a child sex ring was run from this situation. Seems sandusky provided children for the perverts (boosters) and they took care of him. I dont know, just sending on the info and hoping to stir the pot. Good riddance to all of them.

I hope all involved jailed at the very least and those who had their hands on
 any of the kids need to be put down just like a wild dog.
Florida is putting one down tomorrow. IMHO it's way over due he sat,ate our tax's

I'm guessing Joe did what he was told. He reported what he was told happened to the college administrators and was told if he wanted to continue coahing there he would  keep his mouth shut and let them handle it. It doesn't excuse him.

I have absolutely no knowledge of what happened but there have been many incidents of coverups in sports, politics, and religion. There is so much money involved that people go to great lengths to keep things quite. They care nothing for the victims even if they are kids.

You are right there hasn't been a trial. The 2 witnesses that reported the child rapists were afraid to step forward. The judge is a friend of the accused. The kids who were raped did say they were raped. Penn State officials were reported to have told the rapist just don't do that here.
Granted thats not a trial but I seem to remember someone really concerned about a homeless man being beaten to death by some cops. He was sure they were guilty with no trial, and I was pretty sure he was right. In this case I am pretty sure the kids were raped, aren't you?
