.375 win question

I recently picked up 94 .375 winchester, has a few small dents in wood blueing looks good, looks unfired. question is , where to find when made. Serial number ae16xxx, angle eject. also wondering if anyone has any luck shooting 250-260gr cast. currently have some sierra 200gr on the way. any good loads? thanks

Go to leverguns.com - there is a place you can run the ser # to find out what year it was made.  IIRC it's over on the left side of the home page.
 
Can't help you on loads for it, don't have a .375W (but would like one!).
