HeviShot slugs?

Anybody tried them? I started watching a show on Outdoor channel the other day and got interrupted where some guy was using them in a Nova for bear. Heck I didn't know they made slugs! Any info would be appreciated.

never heard of them,are they suppose to be made out of the same material as the small pellets???

I have some in 3.5 mag. They were about $14.00 at Cabela's . I got them to have while hunting in bear country. We had one gun loaded with them most of the time. Where we hunted the grass was 10 ft tall and you could smell bear and where they had been in the grass. Since no lead is allowed we got a pack of hevi shot slugs. Never shot one , still have the 5. Got them in about 2003 or maybe 04.
