Seen several UFOs. Clearly they were flying and I sure couldn't identify them so that makes them a UFO.

Do I believe any were extraterrestial in nature? Nope not really.

I reckon the one that comes closest is the one I saw one night sitting out on my front porch long ago. I wrote it up on here I believe. We see a LOT of planes sitting out there and it's not uncommon to see two or moe at once even. This tho was like no plane I've ever seen.

There were four light kinda like the tips of a cross. No blinking lights and no colored lights like planes have. The distance between those lights was far greater as in at least three to five times greater than any of the hundreds if not thousands of planes I've seen sitting on my porch. I heard not a sound from it. If it was so low as to look that large it certainly should have been audible. If it was too high to be audible it would have had to be ten or more times the size of a 747 jet.

I didn't have my binoculars with me as it was dark already so I wasn't able to get a closer look. I also didn't have time to get them as this thing cleared out of view faster than any of the planes ever do.

I got no clue what it was but I do not believe it was any commercial or military plane that is commonly known to exist. The size and lack of sound was quite amazing along with the speed of it.

Haven't met an ET yet but have run across a few folks I'd like to see the ETs take away with them.

MacDill Air Force Base is right across the bay and after 9/11 there been more aircaft there. I have seen lots of odd lights in the sky and non-US aircaft. so far i have seen A-10s,  F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, Sukhoi Su-27, something that looked like a Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut but it was painted white, Eurofighter Typhoon, and a lot of weird stuff.

My dad told me DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) flys alot of  aircaft that are not  commonly known to exist. Raytheon the place he used to work did some work for them.

I haven't seen any. However it wouldn't surprise me if some day a Mothership or two show up and start taking Names.

I've seen multiple lights in the sky I could not identify. 15+ years ago we would see these things shortly after dark to the East. There were 3-5 depending on the night. They would fly some crazy patterns that I'd never seen before, going in tight circles, then reverse directions and move incredibly fast when they wanted to. Last time we saw them it wasn't quite dark but almost. They'd been doing their thing for a few min when what appeared to be 2 fighters started towards them, one from the North, the other from the South. All 5 lights suddenly shot straight up into the air, like a blur they were that fast. The 2 jets hung around a bit then left . Never saw them again. I got another one, maybe later, the shower is calling me. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

When I was maybe 12 or 13 growing up in ILL A friend and I hunted groundhogs together a lot, George was 1 yr older. We were walking along the creek by a hay field when we heard a ruckus accross the bottom up on top of the hill. It was like a giant had ahold of several trees shaking them violently. There was a loud whirring noise and we could see the trees shaking but nothing more. Suddenly it quit. By then both of us had our 22s at the ready, we looked at each other and decided we needed to check it out. George said, lets go, I'll follow you, I said, no, I'll follow you because you are older, he said, but you are bigger. We walked side by side and not very fast either. On top of the hill there was a scorched place in the leaves maybe 15-20 ft accross and fresh green leaves all over the ground. We saw nothing fly, or run off, never did find out what it was. I can still see the shock on Georges face when we first heard the commotion and saw the trees shaking, I'm sure he remembers the look on my face too. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

We "about nine of us" were on a hay wagon ride after a hotdog roast to celebrate the cousins b-day. It was an Aug night with the time being slightly after dusk when we observed a bright white light about the size of a house travel from the west to the east horizon in a very impressive time "say thirty sec" and in complete silence.

This was obviously a space craft "one of ours or Russia's" but we were not old enough to think to call a news station or the like to know exactly what it was. It could have been an orbiting satellite and again, was very impressive for overall size, brightness, and especially the speed.

Years latter, local news would occasionally mention dates and times that the space shuttle could be seen from ones local but I never had the opportunity to view one of these.

The military has been experimenting with large airships according to Popular Science.  Very large, made out of materials that can't be picked up on radar, and quiet.  They have them for two reasons.  Spying and heavy lift of materials and supplies.  They can take supplies to remote places that have not airport runways.  I think Lockheed was working on one, it was black to hide at night and has super quiet engines.  They probably keep them in the dark most of the time or out at Area 51.

Airships by their very nature would have to have tremendous power and structural integrity to travel at the speed these UFO's have been observed. Add the extraordinary maneuverability and I would presume "airships"of any terrestrial manufacture are not what has been observed.

Must have been the Illinois anti-gunners (state reps and DNR) fixing to take your guns away from you.  You're lucky you got away with your life!

What's NOT so funny about it is that once these fat cats figure a way that we can own but not use guns here in IL, then the rest of the states will follow through with it.  Chicago figured out a way to prevent people from using guns in their city while not violating the 2nd ammendment.  It's only a matter of time before the buracrats figure a way to do the same in the rest of the state and the rest of the country.  Gun owners need to get together NOW before it's too late.  Unfortunately, offering an annual payment to the NRA isn't gonna do it anymore either.

I once noticed a roundish object flying through the air above me....it sparkled with reflected lights from the ground, but strangely it made no sound. I watched it for a second or two....then i woke up and saw an empty beer bottle laying beside my head on the ground. For some reason i had a splitting headache....maybe it was from the aliens probing my brain.

I saw something very similar about 15 years ago. It looked like a giant triangle and didnt make a sound.

I believe there is probably life out there but how could they travel the vast distances to get here? And even if they did have a way for long distance space travel why would they want to visit us?

Well, you asked, so here goes. In fall of 1974 I was a college freshman, living in the dorm. In Tennessee at that time we had what we called "field parties." Alcohol was illegal on campus, though the legal drinking age was 18 (It had been lowered to 17 during the Vietnam war for Tennessee, but that only lasted a year--- so I've been able to drink legally since age 17! I don't particularly like to drink, BTW, though I do a little.) Anyway, about 20 of us piled into cars and headed for the country. We found an open field back in the river bottom . One car had speakers that we could set up on the back, and the party started. In spirit of full disclosure, there was some weed smoking, too.  ::)

Around midnight, there was a pause in the music. One of the girls pointed to the woods and said, "What the h___ is that?" There was a blue-white glow coming out of the woods, like BRIGHT. While we watched, this big glowing ball floated up above the trees and then out into the other end of the field we were in. It was pretty well spherical, but sort of squashed top to bottom. It floated out towards us and stopped. It hovered for maybe a minute. The whole time it was pulsing with light. Then it took off, upward, on an angle a little off vertical. It dwindled down tp a pinprick and disappeared  in about five seconds, all in absolute silence. We got our stuff together and got out of there. I'd call that a UFO sighting. :o

One thing I have thought of fairly recently, my own "encounter" not withstanding, is with all the observation cameras in use today, why are there no pictures or footage of UFOs unless there are live witnesses? It's true, the only sightings on record are when people are there. Now, that could mean "they" can fool unmanned cameras, but it could also mean there's some kind of psychological thing going on.

One thing that gets me is that only white people see aliens, get abduct or see  Ufos. I have never hear of a minority  haveing this stuff happen to them?

also with the observation cameras maybe the aliens are just pranking the hold human race, think about.  If you can fly that far in space could you not make a cloaking device or Active camouflage so the people your watch would see you?

"with the observation cameras maybe the aliens are just pranking the hold human race, think about.  If you can fly that far in space could you not make a cloaking device or Active camouflage so the people your watch would see you?"
This is a 'given'.  We might be able to see their craft with the naked eye but to expect the gov't, or any other tracking capability to openly admit they have been tracking them is not a 'given'.  The gov't probably believes that if they acknowledge a alien presence that we will panic and they will lose control.
"only white people see aliens, get abduct or see  Ufos. I have never hear of a minority  haveing this stuff happen to them?"  Well now, you surely don't think that all people of color or of a minority background are crazy enough to even consider admitting to such a thing, do ya?  It is one thing to be discriminated against, or disdained as a person of color or a minority, but to be considered crazy as well for admitting to seeing ufos or aliens is really pushin' the limits of tolerance and credibility. It is one thing to be _____, but to be a crazy _____ is something else...   I think this might have something to do with the way the comedian Richard Prior describes the differences between a black person's and a white person's reaction to the sound of gunfire.  The black person immedaitely turns and heads the other way but the dumbazz white guy is the one who sticks his head around the corner and sez:  'hey, what's goin' on here'......  can ya pick up what I'm layin down buddy.....

i see what your saying. still if i saw  something like that i would try to get proof and tell other people about what i saw. still i think someone or something is pranking us or they have plans like in the Battle Los Angeles moive.

still like my used to say " if you were to know half the stuff the gov. was working on and you told others about it. People would call you crazy, becuase some of them things are beyond belief".  he should know becuase he work with some of these people and he was on a team that worked on the Common Integrated Processor  for the F-22.

Oh man, I can just see it now - the battle for Los Angeles then morphs on to become the battle for San Francisco, San Diego, Galveston, Chicago, Atlanta, nyc, Boston and any other city that hosts large minority populations, and idjits like fat al sharpton and 'can't keep it zipped' jesse jackson start calling for civil disobedience because they believe that George W. is now calling in alien interference so as to further reduce the medicaid or welfare  population, just as he used captured WWII German weather technology to create Hurricane Katrina to do the same in new orleans.  Ha!  Who needs aliens when you have all that?????

Any potential alien we might encounter would have to be so far advanced from us to be able to get here from places many light years away that they might not even recognize us as intelligent beings. Hell I'm not sure man is an intelligent being myself based on observations of them.

Technologically they'd be as far ahead of us as we are ahead of insects. We consider insects as a pest to be exterminated for the most part. Anyone intelligent enough to find their way to earth might feel the same about us.
