I had a Shikari .44 Mag which I passed to one of my grandsons. I got 3 deer with it and he got a buck with it last year. two weeks ago we checked the zero on it and found that it has held well, season to season. We placed 3 shots 1" high at 50 yds..all touching. That will be fine for the likely range in our hilly, eastern woodlands. It has a 2.5X20 Tasco bantam shotgun scope mounted
A little play in the open action is expected..but very little..main thing is it locks up tight.
Watch that ramrod, be sure it's secured..it often creeps forward when fired..turn the rod clockwise a couple times and end up with the BB on the bottom...
