does anyone have a set of Briely companions
« on: January 13, 2004, 11:06:35 AM »
I am a father trying to keep 3 kids shooting skeet. I found an OU for my 14 year old to shoot and want to try it with tubes before going for a full set. I have seen Briley companions for sale on e-bay but there are never there when you need them. This is a 101 sporting with 28 inch barrels, my first choise would be 28 gauge but I would be willing to think about 20s. Let me know if you can help. Shotgunner

There is also a full set of Seminole Chambermates on eBay at $450.  They close on 28 January.  I have a friend with some in 20 ga and they seem to work fine.  He did have to wrap the adapter end with teflon tape so it would not extract every time he extracted a shell, but overall they seem to do the job.  I've seen him run 25 straight in Skeet with his 20 ga adapters.  See

Thanks for the info, I am watching the tubes on e-bay. They were listed with a buy it now option, but did not say what length they were. I e-mailed the seller to find out what the length was and he updated the description, and somehow, deleted buy it now. I am waiting to see how high they go. Shotgunner
