51 congressmen to Eric Holder: You must resign immediately    The surge in congressional calls for Attorney General Eric Holder’s immediate resignation has reached a new milestone: More than 50 members of Congress are now demanding Holder step down in the wake of Operation Fast and Furious.

The number of congressmen calling for Holder’s immediate resignation is now 51. New additions to that list include Republican Reps. Todd Akin and Blaine Luetkemeyer of Missouri, Lynn Westmoreland of Georgia, Steven Palazzo of Mississippi and Jeff Duncan of South Carolina.

Rep. Westmoreland said Operation Fast and Furious was a disgrace to the American people and that Holder needs to resign immediately.

“Fast and Furious played fast and loose with the American public’s safety, leaving a U.S. Border patrol agent dead and DOJ-purchased guns in the hands of Mexican drug lords,” Westmoreland told The Daily Caller. “To say this program was a failure and an embarrassment to the U.S. justice system is an understatement.”

“No matter how many times the attorney general’s statement of when he was aware of Operation Fast and Furious changes — and it has changed almost daily — at the end of the day, he is the head of the Department of Justice and the buck stops with him,” said Westmoreland.

This farce has gone on long enough.  He needs to step down.  Further than that, he should face charges.  Nothing short of jail time is too good for this criminal.  He's corrupt and out of touch with American values.  What I find almost as indignant is the silence of the media on this issue.

the sad truth is 51 congressmen.. most of whom are republicans.. isnt enough for him to even begin to care..
 
we're talking about a man who didnt care enough to even contact the family of the murdered border patrol agent after he was killed with a fast and furious weapon.. when first asked about it, he wasnt even sure if someone from his office had reached out to the family.. he had to go find out.. 
 
do any of us really think he cares enough about the desires of a handful of congressmen to even give resignation a first glancing thought?
 
he is more focused on what he will be eating on turkey day than he is what 51 members of congress thinks or wants..
 
bump that number up to 200 and throw in a couple of high profile senators... and he might have a little nervous indigestion to go with his cramberry sauce (but still wont care that much)..
 
until then.. he couldnt care less.. (sadly)..

No doubt he was following obummers orders. This goes all the way to the top. I can't begin to imagine what goes through dirty politicians heads knowing they are guilty and are caught and still deny involvement or knowledge. I can't understand the law not getting involved here, yeah I know, the law IS involved, but on the wrong side. POWDERMAN.

It's all about feeding us sheeple! The opposition just raises enough stink to satisfy their herd. They know nothing will happen!
Holder's not going anywhere! "Rest assured" If they decided to dismiss him (Resignation) He would be replaced by a clone.

Look what happened under GW's watch...........Ramos and Copean,two good border agents were fired, prosecuted, and sent to jail for shooting a drug runner in the azz. Little bit of stink raised, and then they faded into the night.You never hear their names mentioned today.

Oh yea! Boosh  finally commuted their sentences after Ramos was nearly killed in prison. Imagine that! Putting him in a cell with drug dealing Mexican prisoners.
