  Rocket Fired From Gaza Wikimedia Commons  Gaza terrorists launched two Qassam rockets at Israel's communities in the western Negev late Tuesday afternoon.
One rocket hit a local kindergarten. There were no physical injuries in the attack, but the kindergarten was badly damaged.
The other rocket exploded in an open area in the western Negev. No physical injuries or property damage was reported.
The rocket attacks mark a continuation of the airstrikes-for-rocket-attacks paradigm that has defined Israel's poor security situation in the south for many years.
Earlier on Tuesday, IDF chief of staff Benny Gantz told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Security Committee a resumption of rocket fire from Gaza would necessitate a major operation aimed at changing strategic realities vis-a-vis Hamas and its terror allies in Gaza.
However, Gantz also balked at a prolonged operation, which many analysts say would be required for an operation to have a lasting impact on Gaza's terror infrastructure.
“We will need to shorten the length of fighting as much as possible," Gantz said.

Well PMan....your article is vaque or incorrect. Isreali sources say a rocket hit a shed near a school.  The school was closed, the shed was damaged,,,,didn't say how near, the other qassam fell in a field and didn't do anything...but these Palestinians will pay for this 500 fold.....must be a target isrealis want to take out and needed a 'provocation'....Now they're saying their war in Lybia has released a flow of weapons into Gaza... ....

Powderman is right, 20 out of 22 active conflicts in the world involve Muslims.  They want world domination and can't even keep peace between themselves.  Europe has learned that war can't solve problems.  The Muslims are still way behind the west in the ability to solve conflicts without active war.  WWII was devastating to everyone involved, and everyone pretty much learned their lessons.

TM7 you and I don't disagree on Libya, as I don't think we disagreed on Iraq. I caught a bunch of crap over my "leave Iraq alone" several years ago on these very forums. Now many of these same "war drum beaters" see now, what I saw then.
HOWEVER! If you were to fire ONE ROUND into my house, I would empty a magazine into yours. I don't blame Israel for this attitude. You be a good neighbor, and I will be a good neighbor. You shoot indiscriminately, shoot into my yard with my kids present, and I will burn you to the ground if I can.
Whether you and I agree or not, you will go to your grave, with the Palestinians never being satisfied, or any other Muslim being satisfied for that matter, UNLESS, every Jew on the planet, is either dead or dying. This has been going on since Abraham, and Ishmael, which is about 7,000+ years.
The Babylonians, the Meades, the Persians, the Romans, the Germans, and now the Arabs were, and are, all trying to change Biblical History, and Prophecy, to come out in their favor. The Arab Muslim thinks that if there are no Jews, then this Prophecy cannot transpire. No way can any rational man believe that Israel in it's present state could militarily conquer and over-whelm the rest of the middle east, and they have made no such moves to do so. They have settled on conquered land, which most every country in history has done. As your reading my post your are sitting on land taken from Indians, by a conquering country. You are the benefactor of that genocidal war, and would not want your land, and home taken, just because the folks that sold it to you stole it from someone else.

Unfortunately history does not support this.  We (humans) have been killing each other for thousands of years because: you are a different religion, you are a different color, you live on the other side of the river, you belong to a different tribe etc. etc.

FYI...for the readers.....Kasam rockets are unguided, about 1.6 mile range, with kassam 3 about 6 mile range..they fly randomly.
What a comfort this must be to the recipient of these fine rockets. The Palistianian cares not whom they kill. A true warrior indeed.

Well at least there is a positive side to the carnage. Let us hope that the accidental discharges on the part of the builders increases ten fold.
 
Speaking of lies, shed vs school?,,,If the rocket launchers were trying hit a school and kill an occupier's children, then why did they launch a rocket when the school was closed..? 
 
A better more sensible question would be: IF the Palistinian truly wanted peace, why would he launch them at all.
The rocket attack was likely another hoax to justify some more brutal actions of the IDF, and curry up rabid favor of the judaeo-christians again.
