BUGEYE shoots self in foot. AGAIN
« on: November 22, 2011, 02:24:12 PM »
according to him Timothy Mcveigh was caught before he had a chance to bomb anything. ::)
Newt made him look stupid.
his response was on the question of the need for the patriot act.  he said we caught Mcveigh without it.

Did he say, that McVeigh never bombed anything, or did he say that McVeigh was caught without the Patriot Act, because he was caught without the Patriot Act. The Oklahoma City bombing was in 1995, and the Patriot Act came out in Oct. of 2001.

Opps!
Well he still shot himself in the foot when he said he would not help Israel in military action against Iran.
Not a popular stance................

All I see Ron Paul saying in this blaze story is, that in his opinion, Israel has dozens of nukes, and air power, and doesn't need us to whip Iran. What he also said was, the United States needs to get out of the way of Israel. That doesn't sound like abandonment to me, as much as it sounds like "stay out of their business", and "stop trying to tell them what to do". Big difference, a exactly what I was alluding to, when I said earlier that Paul's stances are many times "misconstrued" as to what he actually means.

What Americans watching these debates are doing, is exactly what the news medias WANT THEM TO DO. And that is: Catch every little mis-speak, every little bobble, and say, whoops! We can't have a president like that!
Americans, GUIDED BY THE MEDIA, are holding these debaters to "a higher standard than they themselves can attain". There is not a single person in this country, or on these forums that can field a constant barrage of questions, and opinions, without making a mistake. That's why agreement between men and countries are WRITTEN DOWN.

AMERICAN VOTERS, AND AMERICANS ON THESE FORUMS ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THEIR NOT GOING TO GET. A PERFECT CANDIATE DOES NOT EXIST! LOOK AT THEIR "VOTING RECORDS".

RP said we caught Mcveigh without the patriot act.  Newt had to remind him that Mcveigh succeeded in blowing up a building.  after that, everything he said sounded like a pissed-off little kid.

yes, we should do away with the patriot act.  let terrorists blow up innocent people and we'll catch them later rather than before the act. ::)

Who cares about the 4th Amendment, the Patriot act keeps us safe. Didn't Ben Franklin have something to say about that?

This sounds like the anti-gun chant "sure lets do away with gun control. Let the criminals shoot innocent people and we'll catch them later rather than before they act."

Sorry the extinction of rights to "prevent" criminal acts is opposite of freedom.  The "Patriot Act" is the perfect vehicle to further restrict the rights of citizens.

As the Neocons stood around discussing whom they would bomb and maim next, oblivious to the economic distress that our nation faces, there was one intellectual voice in the crowd saying that, just maybe, that is why they hate us and, besides, our greatest national threat is a financial breakdown exacerbated by the spending and weakened militarily by having them spread all over the world.

Israel, with their hundreds of nuclear bombs, could easily vaporize Tehran and all their Mullahs in a matter of seconds. Does anyone actually believe that Iran will commit suicide by attacking Israel?
US control of the Caspian oil seems a better guess.

Has Homeland security actually caught anyone? Sure, there have been a few false flag incidents such as the underwear bomber whom they helped to get on the plane, but such is necessary to keep the Sheeple from whining too much about losing so much of their liberty, being groped and porno-scanned. One voice stood alone fighting for our liberty and freedom.

Have you ever heard of the "Enabling Act" it was similar to our "Patriot Act". It was enacted in 1933 Germany and followed by Hitler becoming dictator.

By the way, RP is now ahead of the seven dwarfs! His message of freedom and liberty is resonating.

y'all keep worshiping at the feet of RP and get ready for another 4 years of obama.
not only because of throwing away your vote, but obama would rip him to pieces in a debate.
he can't even debate fellow republicans.  he gets tongue-tied and pokes his lips out like a spoiled little kid.
Is that what you want leading the country?  not me.

also, when the RP worshipers don't have a good argument, they change the wording of the thread.

I'm not worshipping at anyone's feet. But yes he best represents what I'd like to see leading this nation. Quite honestly I don't see how any of the rest of the crowd would be an improvement on what we have now. They all seem to believe in the same thing the dumcraps do.

If we don't get some folks elected who want smaller not bigger federal government then we can kiss freedom goodbye but from your posts I believe that's what you want anyway.

If Ron Paul gets elected, good. If Obama gets elected or we have a crash/depression, either one will get like minded people grouped together. What else will change things. Electing what is now offered certainly won't. ear

y'all keep worshiping at the feet of RP... when the RP worshipers don't have a good argument...

'worshipers'? What constitutes a worshiper, in context of politics? Diff between worshiper, and supporter?

I'm going to guess that you, bugeye, would support your favored candidate.... but that those you disagree with, worship theirs. Do I have that about right?

Anyhow... I like Dr. Ron Paul. Does that make me a worshiper?
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Republicans like to blame the Democrats for all our problems. The Democrats blame the Republicans.

Obama didn't put us where we are today! He just added to the problem, and the next one will continue the same if we don't break the cycle and put some leaders back in power that not only swear to uphold the Constitution but (Do it). The American voter, and the lesser of two evil mentality is the real cause of the country being where it is today.

We get a rare chance to really make a difference with a real patriot like Paul, and instead choose the lesser candidate of our party. I guess we're like an Alcoholic trying to break the habit. We haven't reached the bottom yet. I think we're damn close though! If we vote in another Newt or Mitt, we know what we will get. Look at their resume!

But if we don't we'll get another four years of that terrible Obama!!.............."Bovine#2"
RP could beat that clown without trying, and the GOP knows it! That is why they never even mention his name in a positive way. They don't want change and he represents real change. They are afraid of him and what he stands for.

I am pretty disillusioned with the whole deal. Even if Ron Paul were elected honestly how much good could he do? It would take a couple decades of Ron Paul types in the White House and both houses of congress to undo all the crap that has been done and thats probably not going to happen especially when one party is busy creating a class of impverished people so that party can then turn around and buy those peoples' votes.

"Anyhow... I like Dr. Ron Paul. Does that make me a worshiper?"

It makes you a "worshiper" only if you think Paul is infallable.
I don't know about you, but many do.
I don't see any infallable candidates yet. Nobody out there I can't critisize about something.

This whole topic goes back to my arguement of "If you don't begin to make a change in your own life, in your own home, and your own family, then don't expect your governments to change any time soon."

Until we decide to make changes in our day to day lives by getting out of debt, concerning ourselves in local politics, and maintaining a line of communication with our state and federal elected officials, then nothing is going to change.  But to my dismay I continue to observe people more pre-occupied with the latest football game, or the latest episode of "X" tv show.  Or too pre-occupied with this hobby or that problem to take a few minutes out of every day to do the things they need to make our governments run the way our founders intended it.

But I expect that within the next few months, I will continue to see people in my personal dealings, and on this forum continue to b***h and moan about how bad the government is, and how it's not my fault I voted for so in so.  If you don't do something every day to try and get things changed to the way you and many other people think is right, then the opposing side that IS doing something will win.

I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."
