My birthday Handi...

Here is a picture of my new Handi.

It is a 357 Mag, cut to 16.5 inches.  I added a bipod and the new Mueller Speedshot 1-4x24 scope.  The rings are Warne, which are way too expensive for this build, but all they had in stock.

Finally, the TROS Diplomat II makes it nice and quiet.

Nice rifle. I like those small dia. objective scopes also. Now if the women don't find you handsome, at least they'll find ya Handi!

My best group so far has been .78 inches at 50 yards.  I have not done any accurizing yet, so I hope to improve it to 1 moa.

This is my first Handi, so I don't know if I can get it from 1.6 moa to less than 1 moa.

Range update...

I went to the range this weekend for some fun and load testing with the Handi.  I had a great time, and tried out the new Mueller scope I just mounted.

Prior to load testing, I zero'd the scope at 50 yards.  Out of curiosity, I dialed in 21 minutes of elevation, and held right on the 200 yard gong.  Ting!  Five times in a row!  I was shocked that a $160 scope had such accurate adjustments, and that my ballistic iPhone app calculated it so well!
