good lord, 1200 buks for a 30-30? im out! ive been in the market for a win 30-30 but ill jus get a really nice pre 64 for a lot less.

Nope , its not back . A Jap made 94 isnt a Winchester . Winchester is a fading memory of Americana.  :'(

you can buya bicentennial for less new in box thats what i did go to a gun show and look on the web to see what you really like. ;)

Gun shop shelves are stocked with plenty of pre-64 genuine Winchesters in good used condition, for half the price of these imported imitations.  I've got enough 94's in my cabinet, given the prices of today's Japanese versions.  No thanks!  No wonder people are flocking to Rossi levergun copies.  They work good and are reasonably priced for those who need a brand-new levergun and aren't multimillionaires.
