I bought an import western style, single action, convertable revolver to teach my girlfriend/wife to shoot.  She carried it as a .22Mag when she went out riding in New Mexico while I was overseas.  She fell in love with it, and will not trade it for a newer .22 revolver for anything.  She taught Sky to shoot pistol with it, but refused to let him have it.  It's setting on the shelf in the laundry room near the front door, loaded right now.  She carries it every morning when she takes Prince for his morning walk.  She has not killed the Coyotes that hang around the neighborhood, but she sure put the fear in them.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I guess that pistol could be called a coyote accelerator!
