Engraved Uberti Cattleman .45lc

Can any out there provide general (or detailed) info on the "T.R." engraved Uberti .45lc? As I understand, it is supposed to be a Teddy Roosevelt edition. I was looking at SA .45s and picked one (store had three; engraving was sharper/cleaner on mine). It has nice looking wood and was reasonably priced. I am fairly certain the engraving is machined but it still is not a bad looking revolver.  Recommendations on shooting the heck out of it vs. keeping it in unfired condition?
I also have a factory engraved Ruger Vaquero. I have been leary of shooting my engraved pieces... just 'cause they're so pretty!
I would love to get feedback as I weigh the pros and cons of "using" these tools versus keeping them boxed and "valued". Thanks.

You'll never make enough money on them to cover what you lose in joy of shooting. My opinion is this: if the gun don't shoot, it's just a fancy hammer...

Guns are made to be shot. Shoot it. Teddy sure used the heck outta his. If I don't plan to shoot it I don't buy it.

I agree with Treeman, shoot it and enjoy it.  I asked the same question when I bought an engraved Colt 1911.  My indecision lasted until the next day (the soonest I could get to the range), then I put 500 rounds through it!  Engraved guns shoot great!  Enjoy that gun. 
PS, one of my 'fun' things to do at gun shows is to browse the tables until spotting an engraved gun with all of the zip ties on it in four different directions.  Then I would slide up to the table and ask the dealer 'How's it shoot?'  The reaction was mixed from a shrug to an almost hysterical 'You can't shoot that, it's a collectable!'  To which I would answer what good is a gun you can't shoot?  :)

i recently bought a buffalo bill cody 30-30 unfired it shoots good my buddie is a winchester collector he is a little jealous i shoot mine. ;D

I once read about a guy that had a very expensive shotgun. It was so nice he never shot it and instead used a low end gun for his hunting. He never got to enjoy his fine shotgun in the field.  When he died his son got the gun and sold it.
