I have been sitting on this one for a few weeks because it's a one of a kind . This is a 1/8 scale 1861 Seige Howitzer on a 24 pdr. carriage . The last one Jeff made before he was taken away ,

That's a good one, and it's what I've been pondering, just a little larger version.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.

I'd love to have a carriage like that for the 1/6 scale 1861 tube you turned for me.  It is still sitting here without anything under it but an old towel....

So whats stopping you from building you own carriage?
