Kept looking at it and comparing both barrels, finally took a file and a whetstone to it. only 12 strokes of the file, and 5 minutes with the whetstone.
What is the next step/project i take towards being a handi-smith.

Next step would be checking the latch engagement by smoking the shelf, if you didn't already, and it's in the FAQ's also.

My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

If I understood the question correctly, next project might be slicking up the hammer/trigger.

I fitted my 2nd barrel 45 minutes later. Now I just need to get to the range
