SR-9
« on: November 28, 2011, 04:41:38 AM »
Hi All,

An FYI.....Just picked up an SR-9 full size on a whim.  I was in the market for yet another 9mm and went to look at SW M&P or Beretta.  I like the old platform guns like HPs, 1911's, SW 39/59 and Walther p-38 actions.  I'll even compromise and get an aluminum frame!  I'm not much for Glock so they were out of the running.

Just for haha's I handled the SR-9 and what an impression it made.  Slim, very nice trigger for what it is, adj sites and 17 round capacity.  The slide is slimmer than either the Glock or M&P and certainly slimmer than the M92. Took it to the range yesterday, shot a couple hundred rounds, half HPs and FMJ.  Digested Hydroshoks, Rem HPs, cor-bond  p and sierras.  Accuracy was really good, I shot at 15yards and basically kept all shots within a 3" dirty bird target.

A couple hundred more rounds next weekend and I'm good to go with a new go to gun!!!

I am seriously considering a SR9c.  They do fit my hand very well.  Does anyone carry one of these?
