125 gr. rem. bullets
« on: November 28, 2011, 04:57:29 PM »
Where can I find the 125 gr. 30 caliber core loc bullets that go in the 30-30 reduced load bullets? I would like to use them in a 30 remington model 14 . They should work great in it. Do they sell these bullets as components?

To the best of my knowledge, they are not available to reloaders at this time...  Sierra makes a 125HP and Speer makes a 130SP... give them a try.

You will have to go with the Sierra 125gr FNHP for a flat nose bullet to work through tube magazines other wise the 125 Nosler ballistic tip works REALLY well at 30-30 velocity. I know people that just load one in the chamber and leave one in the magazine with tube magazines. It only takes one well placed shot to the shoulder with the ballistic tip on a deer and it is DRT. It is my favorite bullet for deer in everything from my 308 Win rifle, 30X47 HBR rifle and 30-30AI Contender 14" barrel pistol.
