Robbing a Wal-Mart yields better than robbing banks

Early Saturday morning a man walked into a Topeka, KS Wal-Mart, went to the managers office and successfully walked out with between 200-500K in cash! I cannot believe that they would leave that kind of cash assessable or have it on hand. Inside job? Very little detail has been given.

I would think they had a safe. If the money wasn't in it, consideriing Friday and Friday night sales, it sure smells fishy to me. gypsyman

Every wm I've seen the cash is in a safe in a locked room usually behind the service desk. Money is passed through a large slot as well as other valuables. The only time the door is opened is when shifts change and that is at different times. If money was indeed taken from a mgrs office it would indicate that mgt was involved in the theft. POWDERMAN.
