shotshell blanks

I Need to reload some 20 ga.shells to make a bang, and some smoke but no projectile. I have some ffg black powder. Thanks for the help,      Pat

i remember years a go a buddy of mine would hand out shells, sum loaded with flour, and then laugh his butt of when we shot them.

Patrick:
Prime the hull
Dump in about 60 gr of FFg
Press a .125" 20-ga card wad over the powder.
I cut the crimped portion off the hull so as not to get it mixed up with my shot loads.
THAT should make a LOT of noise!
