Base/ring advice needed for Sako 75 Stainless
« on: January 14, 2004, 12:04:55 PM »
Optilocks low profile rings are made to accommodate scope objectives up to 63mm. That's too high for my Zeiss Conquest 3.5x10 44mm. Should I go with regular leupold bases/rings or the Sako Ring mounts that mount to the dovetail of the receiver (No base)? Thanks!

Searsmann...by coincidence my Sako 75 SS .270 is on order as well. Can hardly wait. I really wanted to go with the Optilocks but they pearch even a 50mm higher than necessary. Hopefully we'll here for some other Sako owners.
