My whelen was very accurate. It would group reloads in the 1-1.25" range regularly at 100 yards. It was also nice and short so fit on my 4 wheeler well. I don't hunt with a chambered round most of the time, I only chamber a round when closing in on game or right before a shot. For me being able to quietly chamber a round is very important and to get the 750 into battery you really have to let if slam shut. This just turned out to be a deal breaker for me. Its a shame it was a really nice handling rifle.
