Mounting antlers
« on: December 02, 2011, 04:13:01 AM »
An older gentleman, that I work with, killed his best buck the other day at the age of 68. When he showed me the rack, he asked me to "do something with it". What he wants is the antlers mounted on a board/plaque. Any particular ones that ya'll recommend or say stay away from? I've not ever done something like this and don't really understand why he's asked me to do it, but I'm gonna try it.

Thanks in advance

HWD

Is the rack still on the whole skull ? If it is, do a Euro mount like i just did, I still need to mount it on a board. ( see next post for pics. of Euro mount )
