« on: December 03, 2011, 11:24:11 PM »
Hi I'm new here but have been a avid cannoneer my question is where can i buy a nice scale cannon i had been looking on ebay but they sem pricey and look at auction arms but nothing u had also looked at gunbroker and seen a 1/4 or 1/5 howitzer don't recall for $225 for Kansas i think the user id was kscannons have any one delt with that company the feedback way good but I'm cautious on internet sales. Or if you could direct me to someone that is repeatable.i looked at his website and it was a little funky but the work looked nice and it was a little hard understand and thats what made me nervous i had  checked out you sponsors and i'm intrested in the larger cannons any help would be nice. I had checked out mikes cannons but he never replyed back the guy on gun broker  is scale artillery dot com or ks cannons its confusing but he was the only one that replyed back so far if you have any advice i would appreciate it thanks Jack

Ya here is the site http://scaleartillery.com/Home.php is it the same company as the one shown here seacoast artillery they look the same

Did you contact our sponsor and ask then what that can do for you?  They make cannons in the same class as thosein the website you linked.

Visit our stickies and see how a cannon should be made.

Tell us what size and style cannon you are looking for.

Hey Double D
The website he provided is a user on here. Goes by the name Classiccannons. Looks like June of 2010 he had to sell off alot to get his son back after his wife kidnapped the boy. I have way to much time considering over the last 2 days I made it 40 pages through old posts trying to find alot of good information. Ran across that tonight. not sure sounded like he may have been a supplier at one time.

Hi
Thanks for the info.I might buy the 50 cal howitzer since its not that much and the risk really isn't that much. And then after i make a carriage for it and fire it i post some pictures of it he offered free caps for the trunnions and wood but i kind of like the brass howitzer rail system and i may make that with some options i have in mind.I'll keep you posted on the progress Thanks

Austin was a sponsor here at one time and seemed to be a decent fellow who was going through some rough times.  Lets us know how you make out...
