Zombie Ammo

I know I'm old and out of the loop when it comes to movie stars and weird "musicians", but I thought I was on top of guns and the shooting.world.Then along comes this Zombie ammunition. I have been seeing it advertised in gun magazines and saw a bunch of it in the gunshop the other day. I have heard of a t.v. show about the walking dead but I wasn't aware we needed to shoot 'em. Anyone know what this is all about?

Its just regular Hornady ammo in a different package.  My guess they are trying to get a slice of the video game to real gun market.  Whole thing is pretty silly, if you ask me, but I guess it sells product to folks fantasizing about the Zombie apocalypse....

Even Ruger is jumoing on the bandwagon. They have a "Zombie Slayer" edition of the .380 LCP. I dont know about you but if there were a zombie outbreak I think I would leave the LCP at home in favor of a long gun. :o

the zombie thing used to really irk me.   then one day, i took a look around at the populace.   if you can go out in public, look around and the people you see, and NOT see braindead people walking around everywhere, then you must be living in the right place.  80% of the people out there dont have a clue.   
   that being said, i dont advocate shooting them.   unless they are criminals, then i advocate the hell out of it.
