CZ 550 kevlar Carbine 9.3x62?

 Anyone seen one of these yet? I am not sure they are in the pipeline yet. I have a few emails out for pricing/availability. Looks to me like they took the 550FS barreled action and just put it in an American styled kevlar stock. Still, I would like to see one, heck, I may even buy one.

Jim, I agree that it seems to be a 550 FS action in a Kevlar American pattern stock.

I have a .308 FS and unless you plan to mount a 50mm or larger scope you'll likely want lower rings than those supplied.

I am 6' 4" and have a broad face but the supplied rings still had my cheek slightly raised above the stock to align with the scope.

I have the 1.5-6x40 mm Burris Euro Diamond with a 30mm main tube on mine in medium rings.  Even low rings would have cleared but the scope would have been darn close to the bolt handle and the rear sight and likely too low for comfort.  Then I'd have been pushing my cheek into the stock to line up with the scope. 

The 9.3x62mm is a good round.  I kind of wish I had some kind of use for one so I'd have an excuse to buy one....

 I had one place email me back. price was around 725.00 plus shipping he said. He didn't indicate that he had it in stock. My gunshop called and talked directly with CZ USA today and they said they were not available right now. I didn't want to wait, so I made a deal for a Ruger Hawkeye African in 9.3x62. It has a 23" barrel I think, but other features I wanted. I have made the decision to shoot a big hog with it.
