project ideas??

I picked up some great steel today,  but i am having trouble coming up with a good cannon to make,  9 feet of 5in OD 3 inch ID      what to make??

Sounds like a bunch of chambered howitzers as the wall thickness is below the 1:1 ratio.  Or you could make Parrott style guns with a reinforcing band shrunk on.
