helpfull enthusiasts here, had to sign up. can someone direct me to info on importing barrels from the states, noticed

It may help a little to start a thread in the handi section. Used handi barrels have been shipped to Canada according to past threads. There used to be a bit of an issue going through the proper paperwork to ship the receiver to handi factory then back with a fitted barrel. It was very time consuming and a few forms involved. If that's still the case it would probably be better to learn how to fit a barrel, have a gunsmith do it for you or take it to a handi service center in canada.
Sorry not up on the handis very much anymore, but quite a few folks here are.
Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the internet home of a great bunch of folks and a few old farts.
Hope your time here is enjoyable.

There is a ton of info in the FAQ's section under H&R Rifles forum.

I suspect you'll find your answer there, if not just post your question in that forum.
