Special Antlerless season
« on: December 11, 2011, 02:04:08 PM »
I plan on one more deer camp before season end. Antlerlees season reopens the 16th till Christmas Day. Making a plan to hit the cabin for at least one night. We harvested 0 does this year so we will head out to cull a few. Last one we had at the processer was ground completely into breakfast sausage. Great flavor. Makes good taco, spaghetti, chili and stew but we have regular ground for that.

Deer hunting is mostly fun then you shoot one and it turns to work.

Should be setting over a spread of decoys Saturday morning. May have to wait for bow season to come back around to try the deer again.
