I have a 22-250 for my Encore pistol. I get sub MOA at 100 yards with it. I can shoot golf balls at 200 yards with it. It is a great round. Make sure if you get one that you put a variable power quality scope on it.  The better you see the better the group. I have a Weaver 2.5X8X28mm on mine.
If  you're going to make a hole, make it a big one.

I shot my 15" bull friday.  It is on a harris bipod.  I was shooting MOA with cheap ammo but I think it will do better.  I plan to return to the pit Friday, I'll keep you posted.
