Looks like i eat a lot of garbage. I had never cooked a thing in my life. When my wife passed away unexpectedly i ate one meal a day. If it couldn't be done in the micro wave i didn't do it. Went from 242 pounds to 175. 3 years of that and decided i should learn to cook a little. Still not much though. Most things now are either fried or done in the crock pot. Still use the micro a lot too. I HATE cooking.

If you hate it it doesn't matter.
Not sure where you live but the Williams and Sonoma or the Sur La Table stores have cooking demo and teach you how to do simple things like grill, roast, pan roast, and saute (fry in a pan with a little oil)
The big part of making cooking come out good is how you treat the product.  Steak on the grill, let it sit and don't poke it, when it is off the grill let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes (based on thickness) and when you cut into it it will not bleed juice all over.  If you are happy with what you eat then keep doing it, if you wnat to impress someone or take some pride in making a few things really well, then look for cooking classes near you.  May meet someone that wants to cook for you and you can be back to 242 in no time.

cooking is not really that hard. i live almost totally off wild game and meat and veggies i raise.the crock pot can be your friend. rite now i have a big old pot of brown and white beans i threw sum ham and onions and pepper and salt in this morn.the ham came from a big old pig i raised and the onions from the garden. pepper from sum i raised also.if it tastes as good as it smells it will be awesum.took my 10 min this morn to make it and will provide maybe 6 or 8 meals.

Yup   Throw a rabbit in the crock pot and let him cook until the meat is falling off the bones. Then debone him. Throw in some  veggies that taste good, and cook the stew till the veggies are done.

More slop tonight. Simply looked at it, took a small taste, and left the table. Yesterday I went to burger king.

You went the wrong way. Probably not any rabbits around where the Burger King is.
