after Christmas we were going to send in his receiver he wanted, to put a 45/lc 410 barrel on it
he favorite load for his 30-06 was h414 behind a 180 grain Remington bronze point( left over from reloading days in the 70s ) said it looked cool just like a missile.

Those did look cool!!


My wife calls me an old softy quite often.  As a final tribute why not send it in, get the barrel, and find a private place to imagine him standing beside you letting you have the first shot to try it out.

I agree, but will add that I would take it out once a year for another hunt with your son!

Not sure what to say.I will pray for you and family, for strenght thru these tough times. Bobby is in the best hands now, his pain is gone. Sometime down the road, he will show you, where the best hunting is. gypsyman
