Micrrosoft Minefield Navigator
« on: December 13, 2011, 08:36:49 PM »
While I use Windows OS I have a problem of touching unseen buttons anywhere on the screen that takes me to an advertisement for someone. This generates a click count for the site you are on. You don't know where you may end up accidently, generateing click counts and revenue for someone at your inconvenience (and expense - time).

What if someone built an application that would corrale Windows to let you browse in peace. It would function largely as a pop up blocker, surrounding your operateing space, and let you browse at ease. It could be addapted to limit or eliminate the number of applications that are running on your computer at one time and keep the operateing speed of your computer fast. While you are typeing It could also function to keep your location on the page from jumping all over the page and you form having to cut/paste to keep your responses or messages in order.

IF it were built by Apple they could sell it and it would probably work. I know zip about programming but I can see the logical function of the systems and a need for the product.

I don't think the problem is ALL my meat hammer fingers.
If it is happening to you, it is happening to someone else.
Just my daydreaming.

Ear I have no idea what you're talking about.  :o   There are no hidden buttons on any of my equipment that send me places I don't wish to go.  Everything I use only goes where I tell it to.  I could only assume you have activated some protocalls you need to eliminate.  The actions of your equipment aren't random.  It will only do what you either tell it or allow it to do.

I use a touchpad and it is simpley different areas of the screen, borders, spaces in an article, that if you make a touch on it it will pop up an advertisement. Just a real agrivation with my keyboard skills. I posted in the STOVE just to gripe, didn't expect any solutions to my personal debilitations.  ;D   :D   ???  ear

I use an Iphone for some of my surfing needs.  Just think about your pad device, whichever it is, but with a smaller screen.  Until I got used to it I used a stylus to allow for more precise movements.  If you have clubfooted fingers like me it can be a big help.   ;)
