Back for more!
« on: December 14, 2011, 11:42:13 AM »
Wow...it's been almost exactly a year since I was on here last. I was sent out to a national lab and had limited computer access, then changed jobs and this site seemed to get stuck in their "security filters". Go figure. All the other firearms sites make it through, but cannon and mortar don't! :o

Well, I'm back now...and still plugging away at some of my ongoing projects. 2012 *should* see the completion of my 6" cal. model 1848 British/Sikh standing mortar as well as a couple medieval cannon in the 1.5-2" cal range.

Looks like I'll be back in Africa for a week or so the first of the year, then hopefully back routinely thereafter. Lots of cool historic stuff along the west coast there!
