I bought one in .44 Magnum a couple months or so back with 20" round barrel. Price was $420 out the door. They also had in stock a Marlin and a Rossi both with 20" octagon barrels in .45 Colt. Both were NIB and the price was $720.

Clearly that dealer thinks there is magic in those octagon barrels. I sure wanted the Marlin but not at that price. I'll prolly stick pick up a Marlin or Rossi one or the other in .45 Colt but hope to find a used one marked down so.

Several years ago I got one new from EMF with 20" octagon barrel for $315 new.

I would say if you want it and comfortable with the price than yes, I payed 450.00 for a M-92 454 casull back in 1992.
