new to me huntsman combo

traded a Pioneer 101 metal detector for a NEF huntsman with 12ga mod choke w/ schnable for end. came with a pack of 10 primer carriers.

what shoots well out of these? I've never really messed with a ML before. Would appreciate advice.

You got us a little confused here. Do you have a "NEF" .50 cal Huntsman with a 12ga mod choke 2nd bbl? Or is the 12ga a ML also? If your looking for loads for the .50 do a search here the are lots of loads that others have used for thier 50's every thing from full bore slugs to sabot and Black powder to smokeless. congrats on the find. its a ML barrel and a shotgun barrel on the same SB1 frame.

I thought you had a muzzle loader shotgun, but then I saw the "12Ga mod choke".     
FWIW, I use two (50gr) T7 pellets, and TC's "Cheap Shots" (240 gr Hollow Points) which come with black sabots.  It shoots 1 - 1 1/2" groups at 100 yards, your Huntsman, may or may not like the load, but it works for me.  If you have time, use BH209 and work up a load, or drop Busta a PM, he's really into the BH209 loads, as a matter of fact, you should probably take PHATINJUNs advice and do a search.  I think he posted quite a few on this site.  Best of luck, and congrats on picking up the Huntsman, I really think you'll enjoy it.
