A gunsmith I had do some trigger work on my SPR18 showed me how to decock my SPR18  but I have forgotten how he described it.  Owners manual does not describe.  Is it pulling the trigger with saftey on?

Nope pull up on the cocking/opening lever and whilst holding that up depress the trigger and release the cocking opening/lever. Voila one de-cocked MH18 Baikal ........................... whoops sorry re-badged Baikal now a Remington  ::) .

Use a snap cap or build one in the correct caliber. It's easy
