Right now, the danger with any third party run is that it could throw Obama back in office. As I see it, trhere is no potential 3rd party candidate who could beat Obama.
If Obama is to bne beat, it would almost have to be one of the top three runners. Although they may not the best choice as some see it, any one of them would be miles ahead of Obama. We are talking the very survival of the United States now.
All those we saw in the debates so far, have been running a s Republicans...so I consider tyhem to be Republicans.
In order for a conservative to beat Obama, he must garner nearly 100% of the conservatives plus a sizeable majority of the independants. Ron Paul has not yet topped the polls, but soon we can expect the STHTF... When some of his ideas are not only exposed but also exploited, how will conservatives and independants.
Once his philosophies are exposed, do you believe enough conservatives will stick with him when they find out his true dislike for Israel? .. Or his tendancy to blame US for what the terrorists did on 9/11.... And how about the legalization of illegal, mind-bending drugs...will the most conservatives stick with him at nearly a 100% rate ? `
