If anyone has one how do they shoot? I have a hankering for one in 7mm-08 for some reason
. I get these wild hairs every now and then...

I've not worked with my XHR 7-08 enough yet to speak to what it is capable of but it seems to do well with what I have shot in it. What has worked best so far is an old load I worked up years ago. I like it well enough but do kinda wish the barrel wasn't so long.

My XHR .243win is awesome.....ave group is .5" - .75" at 100yrd.

Could not get an XHR from my local guy that I like to support... so I went with a XCR II in 270,,, hope it will be a good shooter!

My son has an XHR in 300 Rem Win Mag that will shoot MOA with Remington factory 180 gr Core-lokt's. I shoot it more than he does it seems. I was able to take an antelope doe at a lasered 345 yards in 2010 with it. It is a very good hunting rifle for the long haul. We walked 11 miles that day according to the GPS. Recoil is not bad on the 300 considering how light the rifle is.
