That video of the guy checking into the motel and paying cash hit home with me. A couple years back, the Shot Show, was being held in Orlando,Fl. So, to make a mini winter vacation out of it, I took the family. We got down there a day early, as we had booked a room at Disneyworld for several days. I don't remember the motel we stayed at, maybe a Ramada. As I checked in, the clerk said around $90 for the night. I pulled out 5-$20 bills. She refused to take the cash. I politley told her, that, according to the law, she had to take the money. She called the manager over, and he said the same thing. If it wasn't due the the fact I had my wife and 2 boys with me, there would have been scene between the manager, clerk, and myself. So, I used my credit card. I wouldn't doubt that there is a kick back going between the credit card company's and business. It is after all, free money in the form of interest. There are no backers to pay back with the interest on credit cards. All interest goes to the credit card company. gypsyman
