Use of long pointer on LBT hardness tester.
« on: January 17, 2004, 05:04:14 AM »
Hello Veral,
I have an LBT Tester that has a long pointer attached to the pressure arm. It came with out an instruction sheet. A friend has supplied me with a copy of his instructions but his instructions do not show or discuss use of the long pointer.
The rest of the tester looks like the tester photos in the instructions.
What is the difference in operation due to this long pointer?
Thanks,
 Ed

You have the earliest model tester that we made until perhaps 1985, and the current instructions aren't applicable.
email your mailing address and we'll send you a set of those instructions and current catalog, n/c.
