DAN WESSON FORUM
« on: December 30, 2002, 11:05:49 AM »
Well I didn even know Greybeard decided to go ahead with this forum.  So here we go.  I have 2 Dan Wessons myself a  6" 44 magnum as well as a 8 357.  I dearly love the 44 I will never get rid of it.  I am not the most knowledable person about these fine firearms but I thought we could use a fourm.
I would love to get one in 41 magnum as well as one for 22lr and one in 22 mag.

This is Good! I been looking for DW forum/site.  I had a SuperMag in 357max. and got rid of it.(I know) I have pre-own model744 (monson) coming with two 8" shrouds and barrels, two 6" shrouds with barrels, 4" compensated shroud and barrel, scope, 3 hand grips and a DW hard case. I believe this is the best Christmas present I ever got my self
                                Happy New Year!!    Hippie

Glad to see the new DW forum as well.  I have a 445 supermag pistol pack on order and will be writing up an article for it as soon as it gets in.  The piece will also touch on the history of the company.  I think they are on the right track and their 1911's are certainly gaining popularity among the 1911 die hards.
Lets go burnsome...

Is there a good place that carries parts or do I need to go to the company?

I know this is on the wrong forum should be on the rimfire rifle site but a friend of mine owns a pawn shop and I am in there a few days a week to see what he has and he had a dan wesson coyote 22 rifle come out of the safe and he was wondering if he should sell it or keep it I looked it over and I advised him to take it home and put it away no sights, schnerble forend stock nice wood and checkering, and the serial no. 0001 we called dan wesson and they told us it was one of the 14 they had made up for a test market to see if they would sell, and those 14 got sold off they have since quit production on them, I told my friend if he didnt want to keep it I would take it off his hands but he thinks since its the first he will keep it to see if and when they renew production what it will be worth. :D   JIM

I just wanted to let you know that I am a new member and a senior citizen.  It is nice to know that I am not alone amidst these young bucks.  You made a good decision to support this forum and I am already enjoying the participation about my primary and favorite site.
Thank you, Pat
