I would consider it a personal favor if you post all your efforts with these two chamberings, as well as details of the rifles used.
QuoteI would consider it a personal favor if you post all your efforts with these two chamberings, as well as details of the rifles used.Just purchased a untouched Napel Snider from IMA during their 10% off black Friday sale. The one I received has some original British hardware on it. It cleaned up nice and the rifling's are better than my Krag.I purchased 24 gauge brass shotgun shells I am going to neck down for brass. After doing the Snider I decided to push my luck so I ordered a untouched Napel Martin Henry from Sportsman's Guide ( shipped from Atlanta Cutlery). I get 10% off there with my membership and they had another coupon for $20 off $99 or more. It was 100 complete and after cleaning the yak lard off the Snider it only took 4 hours to clean up the Martin. I purchased 10 rounds of brass for the Martin ($4 a pop) and have ordered 3 lbs of FF black powder for both of them. The Martin slugged out at 4.55 so I am planning using my 4.58 45-70 bullets for it. Going to be a while before I get around to loading for them. I have to buy another press for the 1/125 dies. Doug
Right now?Right now, I'm doing all my shooting with my black powder, muzzle-loading flintlock Pennsylvania Long Rifle and 2 percussion cap Hawken .50 caliber rifles...
There's a new way to measure your bullets, by the gallon. I can hear CNN describing a raid at Lloyd's place. "and 71/2 gallons of bullets were found on the premisis"
