SE Nevada/SW Utah Quail and Chukar?

I'll be spending some time in SW Utah/SE Nevada in Jan/Feb and wondered if anybody was familiar with the quail (and chukar?) populations there? Thanks!

Spawners travel to their home stream or lakeshore and die after spawning. Their carcasses return essential nutrients to the water and forest ecosystems.
