I took  the stock off of my Henry and its real Walnut.  Not just colored Birch.  I'm impressed.

I recently sent my H001 in for repairs.  When I got it back the only thing origional was the receiver and barrel.  They even replaced the stock.  The origional stock was nice but a little worn and on the light side.  The replacement was a very dark and beautiful walnut.  They even replaced the screws except for the buttstock screw.

I am amazed at that!!!  I should have sent mine in for repairs and got mine tricked out.  I simply wanted to purchase a replacement stock and forearm and they said that it would be 85.00.

Good deal for you.
