Next rimfire I am going to get in 22 LR and I am not going to ruin it by putting a scope on it.

if they made it in a LH model I would go from jonesin' to ownin'.

Longing is a good descriptor, comes from "keeping up with the Joneses"(your neighbors) to have the latest and greatest. You can be "Jonesing" for about anything.

I don't hear it like I did a few years ago.  I think the term has become outdated by urban youth.  Who knows what has taken its place...

Okay, now that everyone knows what it means, lets get back to teasing each other with rimfires before I don't start jonesin' for a 410 side-by-side that I have no use for. Who's next?

You say that, but My 410 SXS is great.  One year my friends and I went Quail hunting just north of the Tajone pass on the boarder of Northern and Southern CA, the land was rugged and the birds were everywhere.  At one hill we walked down ended in a cliff and it was 25 degree angle about a mile long to get back up the hill to the truck, My buddy Chad and I were trying to sell each other our 12 ga guns and ammo.  Kind of like the Don Rickels schleping the machine gun sceen in Kelly's heros.  The next year I brought the little Stevens 311A in 410 and carried  50 shells and the little gun was a joy and the weight of the shells I was fresh and still ready to go at the end of the day.  Gps had us walking 8 miles over hill and dale.
OK back to 22's   I have been thinking of one of the GSG-5 an H&K MP5 look alike 22LR autos.
Already have crossed three 22 rifles off the list since moving here.   Like the Henry I got 9 months ago and am thinking of a 22 Mag version.  The CZ 452 Varmint I got last year is a great rifle.
The other rifle i have been thinking of is a Savake Mar II target rifle.  Just to see if I can still shoot for score.

right now I really have enough, although I am considering an aftermarket stock for my Savage 93R17 HMR with a hardwood stock..then I would swap the hardwood stock back & forth with the syn stock on my Savage 93F .22 mag.
Next moves might be toward finding and refreshing some old .22s.. I am rather partial toward certain models of old Mossys, Marlins, Savage/Stevens & Winchesters.

I have been following this thread and asked myself, what do you want? I am blessed with more than I really need. In answer to the question, I thought of a CZ 452FS, I like full stocks and have had and enjoyed a CZ527FS 22 Hornet for a few years. So my answer to the question was another 452, this one a FS in 22lr. A few days ago a friend, that knows my weaknesses, emailed that he knew of a NIB 452FS, would I be interested? Long story short, I traded a revolver, that I had not shot in years, for it when the friend brought the CZ today....I wonder what I should wish for next??

I would like to have a Henry golden boy in 22 mag to match my 22 lr , a NEF sportster in 22 lr , a savage mk II TR in 17 hmr , and one of those neat little henry survival rifles I think that should just about do it. Nothing too fancy here but that should complete my list for now ;D
