Model 60 upgrade??????

I was wanting one of the S&W model 60's with the 5'bbl. Then I find that they discontinued that model.
That brings me to ask....I have several 60's with 3'bbl.
 
If I send one to S&W will they replace the 3'bbl with a 5' bbl???
 
Also I would like to have it go through the performance center. Will they do that as well??

I don't known the answers to your questions but I will be checking up to see what answers you get.  Sounds very interesting.

I think your question should be directed to the S&W Proformance center on the Website or the ancient method of giving them a call.
I do not see why they would not put a 5" barrel and slick up the guts of one of your guns for a fee.

Thanks, I planed on calling them next week. It just the holidays and I know their not open and was woundering if anyone here knew.

S&W finally answered my e-mail as I was unable to get anyone on the phone. Does this sound right?

Hello, you can send it in, the action job and barrel will run
about $325.00 I think, the PC will mail out an estimate after the firearm is
received.
